This notice explains how petcare-4u ("we") uses personal information when you use this website.

What we collect

• Account details: your name, e-mail address and password (stored securely as a one-way hash).
• Order details: items, delivery address, phone number, order notes, payments and invoices.
• Messages you send us through the contact form, and your e-mail address if you join our mailing list.
• Technical data: your IP address and sign-in attempts, kept for security and fraud prevention.

We do not receive or store your card number or security code. Card payments are processed by Stripe.

Why we use it

• To process and deliver your order and to provide invoices and receipts (contract).
• To keep accounts and payments secure and prevent fraud (legitimate interests).
• To keep accounting records as the law requires (legal obligation).
• To send marketing e-mails only if you have subscribed (consent). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every e-mail.

Who we share it with

Only with companies that help us run the shop: Stripe (payments), delivery carriers (so they can deliver your parcel), and our e-mail and hosting providers. We do not sell your data.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice records are kept for the period required by tax and accounting law. Account details are kept while your account is active. Mailing-list details are kept until you unsubscribe.

Cookies

We use one essential session cookie to keep you signed in and to remember your basket. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, so there is no cookie banner to accept.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent. Contact us at [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
